Silver Rush Project

Troy worked with Odyssey Marine Exploration in 2012 & 2013 on the search for and salvage of the S.S. Gairsoppa off the Irish Coast in 2013. This wreck was the deepest AND “richest” shipwreck salvage in the world at the time – at a depth of 4700 meters & recovering over 61 tons of silver.

This project also conducted the search for the SS. Mantola & a trip to the HMS Victory. Unfortunately, the Mantola silver remains unfound within the wreck, and the Victory silver was nonrecoverable due to high amounts of HR found on the site.
